Drama Llama Guidelines READ FIRST

All right... this is a new section of YT. We'll give it a try and see how it goes. If things don't work out, we'll have to try another approach.

NO USERS CAN START NEW THREADS IN THE LOUNGE.

The sole purpose of the Drama Llama Lounge is to remove drama from the main YotaTech forum. The goal is to lessen the effect such threads have on those who have no interest in such things.

Guidelines:

1. Once a thread is in here... it has proven to be of zero actual useful contribution to YotaTech whatsoever. If the OP started the drama... then that's a shame, and they should probably find a couple more hobbies. If a legitimate thread spun off target, the OP is encouraged to repost their question in the original section. Hopefully their thread will stay on target the second time.

2. This is where all the drama is going to end up. If you read through these threads, or post in them... be prepared for it. No whining about it. No complaining. You are in Elvota's Drama Llama Lounge, so no surprises as to what you'll find.

3. YotaTech members are encouraged to report threads to be sent to Elvota's Drama Llama Lounge. It's going to take a group effort.

4. All Yotatech rules still apply, however there is going to be an extra effort made to let topics run their course once here. There is no free reign here... just a little more lateral movement.

5. You must remain civil. Do not say things you wouldn't say in person. No slander or threats will be allowed. Be smart, sarcastic, clever, witty. Make a strong point or suffer the consequences.

6. You will get made fun of here. There is no way around it. Accept and enjoy the ridicule. Don't take it personally. If you want out... just stop posting. Say "UNCLE". No posters beyond that will be allowed. No provocation beyond that will be allowed.

7. I will edit your threads, edit your titles, replace your curse words and be a general thorn in your side, but I won't edit your content or direction. The point is to air the rants, to give others an idea of how you think. I won't protect you from looking like an idiot... or make you look like one. That will be your job.

8. Since all mods of YT are here as volunteers, and may not be online at all times... threads may be temporarily closed to allow editing to catch up. Remain calm. Once repaired, things can continue. Of course, YT can not guarantee all threads will remain open if too many rules are broken... but that is the goal.

9. Remember, this is the internet, and better yet a board on the internet devoted to Toyota enthusiasts. This is not a place to hash out in depth world matters or opinions... don't take things so seriously.

Now... sit back and enjoy. Guess we'll see how this works out. Hopefully it will get the nonsense, pot stirring, goodbye forever, bashing threads out of the way of what we all really come here for.

That is to share some tech, make a few friends and spread around our enthusiasm for all that is Toyota.
