I am going to sue Yotech for the damage to my arse after I just fell out of my chair laughing so hard and the liquid damage to my keyboard for the spewed milk.

Too funny.

Why don't I get my own thread saying how cool and wealthy I am??? I think I'll go cry in the corner for a while.

So where exactly is the "corner" of Yotatech? Is it by the "insult the previous poster game" thread, and the "I'm just a girl" thread?

I have no idea what is going on with this thread, but if the situation calls for it, I'm all for a

I am failing to see your point. You have now started 2 threads that I have seen, with nothing more than petty insults and flames tossed at Corey and Illtoy. It's time to move on, grow a pair, and F off.

If it's going to be a section where people's words are changed by someone with the ability to edit other people's posts that's sort of lame....but if it is just a Springer-esque forum then great. It'll give me a chance to try out some of the harder to insert icons.

YT is not an environment for a true free for all. Pirate works that way. That said, we're trying to find a balance between just shutting down threads and having to ban people... which is no fun. It's an experiment, we'll have to see how it goes.

Like I said, I won't change content. It would be ridiculous to have a place to vent or bring drama and then have someone change what you were trying to say in the first place.

If you say "I don't like this".... I'll ask "why?" If your text bypasses the sensors... I'll delete or mod those words. If you outright break the YT rules... those posts will be deleted and the poster will be sent a PM explaining why, warning them not to do it again.

Hopefully we are all mature enough to maintain a certain level of respect. But maybe I am kidding myself.

That's clearly all I was referring to, as the OP sounded "tweaked" to me & I've seen it happen on lots of different boards; I'm happy to hear this won't be one of them. As long as the content stays as posted or is completely deleted I see no big problem; only when words are changed in the post structure to change meaning or ridicule someone do I find it "lame". If a poster wants to make themselves look childish or ignorant that's a different story & will enable the use of the rarely seen icons I mentioned.

Yes, you are kidding yourself. Hoping ALL will be mature enough that is; people just aren't built that way.

No, no content change to ridicule, that would defeat the purpose. I would not be changing the posters content or focus.

No, that won't be happening here either. Same rules apply to this section as the rest of YT. This board is family orientated and not looking to change. Some may find that frustrating, but there are plenty of other boards with a more adult focus.

This could be true... but we will have to see. My hope is to try and keep things open, let the drama unfold and get feedback from YT'rs. I don't want it to be a place that just beats a dead horse all the time however.

We'll have to see how things develop.

Dude, you & I are talking about different icons I guess; why would YT have these icons that seldom have a reason to be used:

If not for use in these types of threads?????

I'm truly confused by that....unless you went off into the unknown & thought I meant linking to obscene ones from elsewhere on the net, if that was the case I'm not sure where you made the leap; I never indicated that was my intention.

Apologies... I did assume you meant trying to substitute unavailable smilies.

No worries then.

Ah this will be a good place. I like Happy Mediums. In real life I curse like a sailor. But as a YT'r I follow the rules of PG. It is nice though to have a place where folks can "take it outside"....
