YotaTech is a board primarily about Toyota, mods and tech. Off Topic is welcomed when it's sole purpose is not to bring drama.

YotaTech is a political board simply by nature of the sport/lifestyle it promotes.

I don't dislike the democrat party. I have supported democrats in the past and as recent as 2002 when Democrats sponsored legislation to allow for "shall issue" concealed carry in Missouri. (My home away from home)

And there are plenty of Republicans that I would consider to be at odds with liberty and freedom in general. So, for me, it is more about world view than it is about politics.

And is YT evil and closed minded? I would say that YT is indeed closed minded. If anything, you are flaming/bashing me in the hopes that I will leave. Point to a single post where I suggest anyone leave. Now how many ask for me to be banned? If you were impartial you would have a point, but you, yourself, have participated in bashing me. So you have no valid argument.

4Mogger... this is not a forum to debate politics. If that is what you want, you need to go elsewhere. No one has to offer you any evidence... it is not what this board is about.

If your only goal at this point is to create political drama... YT has no need for you. You have been breaking the rule I posted above over and over again which is more than enough reason ask you to relax with politics and pot stirring for a while.

With the comment that I quoted, you were claiming to have a target rich environment.
Elvolta's interpretation of it is that you are only posting to get a rise out of people, piss them off, get a reaction, etc.

He simply pointed out that it is against the rules to make posts which will incite anger, arguments, or bashing.

If you do nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.
Only the guilty will argue.

I also believe you are in violation of Rule #8 of the Yotatech Bylaws Act, circa 2000

Politics and religion are everywhere. YT has chosen to adopt the policy to keep discussion in regards to these topics very restrained. As a matter of respect, we expect members not to create drama with such subjects.

Give some examples of me "bashing"you... you won't find them.

I don't name call... I only question your ideas or topics that your present for just that reason... to hear other opinions. I use humor, don't take things personally and actually feel you have the right to express yourself. Trouble is, you have no tolerance for others opinions, and the broken record of "anti-anything that you don't happen to believe in" has run it's course.

Then change the rules. I will not be held to a standard that others are not held to...that is the purpose of rules. And they should be enforced universally. You have not shown yourself to be impartial and are particularly prejudiced against me and my views.

If you change the rules to prohibit political speech, I will follow them. Until then, do not single me out.

I know you are an Obama supporter and that is ultimately the lens you view me through. And that is why you have not banned me already. Because you know it is for your personal beliefs and not because I don't follow the rules.

But leaving your rules up to arbitrary interpretation by a moderator that clearly disagrees with a particular member's political leanings...what is that?
