WOW!!! unbelievable : 4runner Stolen San Jose CA

Yea My 1994 4runner just now got stolen from my driveway, my wife pulled in then came in the house then about 15-20 min later she goes outside and the 4runner is gone . Man I really cant beileve this .
I just called the cops , they said they will come in a bit to take a report.
Here is a pic of the runner.

Im gonna take my pick up and cruise around a bit after the cops come , will have my wife take the expedition and do the same , just for a bit .

I dont have full coverage on this thing either just liability.

I hope they are broke and cant put any gas because the truck had less than a 1/4 tank of gas in it, and one tire was really low on air.

Thanks Rocket.

Well I just now woke up and am here drinking my coffee, I still Cant believe these guys , they have balls man.

It was early all the lights were on in my house and outside , we were all awake kids playing in the living room , my wife was cleaning the kitchen and I was ouside in the back playing with my new welder. Dude this happened at about 8:30.
This is the second car stolen from me at my house , first was a 1990 mustang GT , that car was found 1 week later with the wiring harness and computer stolen out of it .
Honestly I am glad I didnt see that guy stealing my runner I may be in jail right now for murder or somthing.

RMA, sorry to hear about this.
I hate thieves too, and I am afraid I might end up in jail too if I caught one in the act of ripping me off.

I know it is to late now, but invest in a good alarm with a two way pager system.
I had an alarm such as that installed on my FJ the day after I brought it home.

Anyone messes with the rig, and the alarm pages me on the remote and I can see exactly what they are attempting to do.

Also get the starter kill option which most modern alarms have, and also get a battery backup in case they cut your battery cables, the remote alarm will wail and still lock down the rig.

My good friend had her window smashed last night and EVERYTHING stolen, purse, cell phone, everything! She pulled into her friends drive way to drop something off. She was in there for an hour.
What the hell??
Sorry to hear about your truck.
I am glad my rig is torn apart right now. I would be mighty hard to steal.

That's why i put a hidden switch along the wires to the fuel pump on all my vehicles since that at least eliminates the chances of it being driven away.

That is great news!

Do the fuel pump cutoff switch mod tomorrow if you have Labor Day off.
I am sure there is info here as it has been brought up many a time.

Pretty sure the wires run down the left side of the rig.

Then look into alarms later.

Anyone know the color combination to the fuel pump wire on a 94 22re ext cab?
The Haynes manual says its the L Y. This stands for Blue (L) and Yellow (Y). However on my rig there is only Blue (L) Orange (O). The Blue wire is solid with little orange marks.
Is this the correct wire to splice for the fuel pump kill switch?
thanks
