Hey weaselman, I been in UA in sacramento before, I remember seeing your truck park way back in the corner w/o the camper on and no club, so I'm guessing that you work there? Is it an automatic or 5 Speed manuel?

I'm not sure where the guy got it, but when I bought my old jeep (see avatar) it came with a little number pad installed on the dash. you had to put in a 4 digit code in order to turn on the fuel pump. Otherwise you would just keep turning it over.

I recently broke the ignition on my Yota cause i lost my keys on the trail riding my 4wheeler, Its VERY simple to start a yota with no key, I used a Small flathead and a phillips took me about 2minutes to take the whole ignition apart without damaging anything

I used to be able to start my old yota with pennies or other keys or my thumbnail. Its retarted. I got a newer ignition lock on my new truck, one that doesnt use a straight key with 2 round bumps on it lol. Anyone whos ever been in one knows how easy they are to start. Word of advice, use as many anti-theft precautions as possible and maybe update your locks. I hate people going and making me paranoid to walk 10 feet away from my truck at night. get your own damn truck

yea guys, all first gen keys work in eachother, iv had 4 89 4runners, and i got the keys mixed up all the time, i still have 2 sets cuz i got 2 truck, when someone asks for a key to get into it i just say pick any... the other day i saw an 88 xcab and i wanted to see if my key would work, i unlocked the door and then re-locked it, i wasnt going to break in to see if i could start it, but yea man... pretty much all first gen keys work interchangably..
