ok so they found the truck, those thieves are dumb, all they took was my stereo, my skull shifter knob and my new 35s, they took the front brake calipers off though and they were in the back of the truck, not cool, so i'm buying a 84 4runner in awesome condition with 150xxx miles on the original engine with a 5.5 inch lift tomorrow so i'm just selling the 82 im in sacramento so if anyone wants to buy call me, my numbers 916-475-3681 later guys

First of all, sorry to hear about the theft. That being said, I'm gonna rant for a second so bare with me...
Seriously, what the h#LL is going on around this area? I've seen 2 trucks on this site posted as stolen along with a co-workers Acura, a friends cat-converter cut off last month, and now another toyota jacked!?!? To make it worse, I read this morning that they just laid off a bunch of sheriffs due to budget cuts....way to go Sacramento County!

I lived in Fresno for the past 7 years until moving to OR last aug. so I feel ya about the thieves... I used to think string em up... but then i realized that only makes you feel better for a minute that they suffer. I am now of the thought... rush em, drop em, knock em out cold, then smash their hands so bad no surgeon could make it right. They will have to live with their deed and be disfigured as a thief for life!! Not all that different than cuttin em off in arab countries- very low theft rate over there.

the sad thing is, it wouldn't surprise me if the "laid of sheriffs" were the ones stealing the trucks, i mean, they've gotta have the know how, and we want to think the best of our peace officers, but history has taught us that power corrupts. anyhow, how much were you thinking for the 82?

Ya know, I really don't know what's going on anymore...Even out here, last year there were a bunch of break-ins over Christmas. No one want's to work anymore they just take...the consequences are not harsh enough...I'm sick and tired of people just doing what ever they want and don't give a crap about the other around them. What ever you do don't shoot anyone defending your home you are going to go to jail...WTF!!!
I know a guy...4th DUI and is still driving, got his 4th just after his 3rd while he was waiting to go to court for it. Revoke the license and jail them up. while there are their make them work!!! Another guy not long ago had 4 DUI's then kill a little girl and mother...drunk again. Ok I'm done...I'm not having a good day and just needed to vent...

thieves piss me off. our office got broken into recently. but i live in colorado and we have something called the "make my day law", look it up for more information, but basically, i can defend my home, vehicle, and workplace with deadly force. there's a lot of gun nuts around here and basically no carjackings. the problem is that thieves are deterred by the risk of having to go to court and maybe ending up with probation, but they are far more deterred by the fact that they could get shot in the face. except in places where the wussification of America has taken over and there are more laws to protect the criminals than the victims. sad.

I was brought up "if it's not yours...don't touch it"...what the heck are these kids being taught anymore...can't ask the parents they leave it to the school to parent them. School can't spank them, parents get upset...Parents need to take charge and raise the kids right, teach them consequences and most of all RESPECT!!! Respect for themselves and more importantly for others.

without condoning anything illegal, someone should beat some respect into these guys. and if not respect, at least some fear. the other day i watched a methed-out guy punch out the security guard at my local supermarket so he could dash out the door with an armload of baby food. i suppose i can understand, given certain situations, people would do some extreme things to feed their family. but you could pretty much tell he was ripping off the grocery store because he wouldn't dare pull that with his meth dealer.
