im sure it would help if we could get a pic. but dang, all i have to say is alot of 1st gen runners are being stolen... they must be easy to wire or something.
my 95 has the factory anti-theft system. you should look into alarms too, when you get it back. you can get a cheap one for a little over 100 bucks, and maybe get some unlocking action too? i wish you the best man..

Sorry to hear about your 4Runner. I will keep my eye out down here in Portland and on Craigslist. Hope you get it back and something evil happens to the Oxygen Thief that stole your ride...

Not sure if this will help but, My 82 was stolen about 10 years ago. They found it off of Hwy 702 (between McKenna and Eatonville). It was down the road next to the only Shell station on Hwy 702 (wish I could remember the street name) but you drive all the way back and it was down some dirt road. The police called it the bone yard. It was where all of the thiefs were takin the stolen rigs and tearin them apart. My truck was found sittin on the axels with all the tires/wheels, interior, ect gone Hopefully you will find yours in one piece best of luck to you We will keep our eyes out and let you know right away if we see anything

sorry about your rig. I live around portland, oregon and i'll keep my eye out for it.
My 1st gen was stolen and it had kill switches too. The crazy thing is that who ever stole it knew a LOT about toyota trucks of that age... knew to wire up a 12v jump to the fuel pump incase i had a kill switch. New how to remove all of the parts and were every screw was (not a single broken tab). Yet they only took a radio and some old clothes i had in the back.... Everything was very well done like a mechanic had done the work.I did get mine back a few days later (4 i think) I bet you will see yours again too. Meth heads have little time to strip and sell off parts, they tend to go after what they can get in 5 or 10 minutes and sell at the shop around the corner for $20.
