Attn. 4runner stolen feb 5

my 1988 4runner was stolen today in auburn, ca at the 193 exit park and ride between the hours of 2:30 and 11:00pm feb 5. i carpooled with a class mate down to our fire academy in roseville. it is grey solid axle swaped, 35'goodyears on black crawlers black top with roof rack with snowboard rack and hi lift, black stinger bumper. firefighter sticker on the left of the rear window and a large fox sticker on the rear window as well. it has no passenger side mirror.
if you see my truck or know anything please let me know. i have some valueble and invaluble things inside my truck. and no money to buy a truck right now. im hella stressed and pissed so if anyone knows anything please let me know.

Completely agree. I think we should go back to the "eye for an eye" days. I bet our crime rate would drop.

To the op, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I hope it all comes back in one piece with everything still in it. We'll all pray for its safe return

If it's in Mexico, say goodbye. even if you have documentation that its yours, they won't give a rat's butt. I used to live in San Diego and there was an investigation regarding stolen SUV's. They found a stolen Jeep in TJ, the Tiajuana chief of police was driving it! Sorry dude.

Cars stolen in Northern CA don't go to mexico as much as cars in So Cal too far of a drive lol unfortunately, someone who knew what it was probably stole it, stripped it, and will dump it somewhere. Sorry to be negative, but that's usually what happens to cars in Nor Cal.

89silvrpickup, your right that is exactly what they do. i had a chevron gas card in the center console, which is a tuffy security box of which i had a starter kill switch in. so they used the chevron card and they are already out in amador county, cuz they used it at a chevron station out there.

X2 I hope you get it back and I think thief's in general need to loose fingers when caught for any theft but it should start out with a caning the first offense then the finger chopping should start.

Auto theft is huge on the 80 corridor, wish they'd do more patrol on the park-n-ride and light rail parking lots.

Or Just for Joy Riding, they'll drive it around for awhile, show it off to their friends, and dump it somewhere, or sell it on Craigslist as parts only without a title(only if they're really stupid though).

Nonetheless, I'll keep an eye out for it here at home, and in Sac.

Also, it would be helpful to know if it has the half doors on it, or if it has regular doors on it.
