It is flagged. So it was scam.

When you find scams like that on Cl, post them up in the fraudulent vehicle section here on YT. Then all the guys can flag them down.

I didn't see the ad, but Im guessing it was some sort of Toyota, for $2950, or 3900 or some silly price like that? There was an ad recently that was stolen off yotatech and put on seattle craigslist for $3900 for a 2000 4Runner.

One of the other great things New Mexico has to offer is the panhandlers in nearly every parking lot you come across. And they often use a similar story to get a few bucks out of you, such as: "my daughter is sick and I need to buy her some medicene," etc.

This was a similar scam, just online and for way more $$$$
