This was originally posted on craigslist (it has since been taken down), but it wouldn't surprise me if they move the ad around. The lister said his name was Lt. Brian Bauman, stationed in the UK. Story about his brother dying & now he's trying to find a good home for the vehicle & it is too expensive to register in the UK. He said it's in the UK & he'll send it back on an Air Force Cargo plane. Great pix, looks like a great deal, till they want you to wire $ to a bank account in the UK instead of going through an escrow service.

They send imitation emails from ebay, only the domain is listed as VPP-ebay.net. Since the domain was registered in 2005, this scam must have been going for awhile. I just wanted to warn people not to waste their time if they come across the add.
