buick swap

I just picked up a '80 4x4 that has a buick 3.8 and th350 auto trans.. i want to go back to manual trans, but i am REALLY trying not to have to buy more adapters or having to go with custom driveshafts..

does anybody know of a GM manual trans (prefir GM as i could get BOP bellhousing then) that has the same or similar length as the th350 (without tailhousing o-course) and same tailhousing bolt pattern???

thanks

wes

That's gonna be a tough one, but you could try the stick out of a chevy S-10 pickup(GMC Sonoma is same) Maybe the blazer ( the one with the 4.3, not the K-5) would have a manual tranny that would fit.
