Welcome to Yotatech! Northwest Offroad (NWOR) has parts to do Chevy V8 conversions. Here's a link:

I'd suggest doing some research, and checking out some build threads on this first as there is a lot of work involved with this swap! Good luck!

Did you get your parts from northwest off road to do a 302 conversion?

They are from NWOR, but I got them used. I bought an 85' Toyota 4x4 pickup that already had the 302 in it, then swapped it all over to my 4runner, including the front straight axel.

So the parts for the engine swap that Im using that are from NWOR are the bell housing adapter, clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bushing, clutch fork, clutch slave cylinder (I believe all of those parts come as a kit). I also am using their motor mounts and starter.

Other parts that you will probably need would be: larger radiator/electric fan, new oil pan to clear your IFS differential, headers, or stock "Ram" style exhaust manifolds and new exhaust from the headers back, possibly a new flywheel and starter, and you might need a body lift for firewall clearance. I could be forgeting something, but this should give you an idea of what's all involved.

do you know where I could get like a plug and play system for my conversion, cause im using a 97 chevy 350 and I want it to be the original TBI system. I know some people have used things from howell, but I don't want to get everything from howell, I just want to be able to use all of the Toyota electronics in my cab, and then run the chevy tbi with all of its sensors.

You really need to spend a LOT of time researching this website, pirate, and other offroad/Toyota websites. There is no such thing as a plug and play system. Also, the 97 350 isn't exactly a TBI setup. Its a CSFI setup. Your also not giving a lot of information for us to try to help.

You can have your gm harness modified to almost be plug and play to make the engine run, but there will be some other things to hook up to make gauges and things work.

AA is good place to look for parts to make your 350 bolt up to a Toyota transmission (assuming you have a standard). If you still have IFS, your gonna need a body lift and/or suspension lift to fit the motor from what Ive read. Your lucky in the fact that there are cheap block hugger headers for the 350 vs the v6 Im putting in mine.

Bottom line is, if you want this done right, this isn't a weekend project. Like I mentioned before, you need to spend a lot of time researching this swap.

406, I ran a TBI 4.3(upgraded recently...) for several years without a problem. As it turned out, the electrical was the easiest part of the conversion. Mine is a Deluxe model truck, so I went with aftermarket, stand alone gauges. You didn't mention if yours is a Deluxe or SR5(which could complicate things but only slightly). The TBI has a couple wires that require constant voltage, and a couple that tie into the ignition circuit. You'll need a speed sensor, too. That and the fuel pump hookup are the big ones. The Toyota FP will support a TBI system, not sure about the CSFI. Get a WD for your engine and for your truck then start comparing. You can also find adapters for everything, letting you use the original temp and pressure sensors and the like. Long story short, there's no reason to go crazy with high dollar harnesses and ECMs if you have the stock harness and box. Study up then post up when you get to that point. Lots of help around here.
