Well i initally bought this truck just to tow my motorcycle, and help get supplies to remodel the house i just bought. I just wanted to make the truck reliable and maybe do an engine swap over the winter.

well a 3.8 all motor fell into my lap from a grand prix, so why bother fixing the stock 22r . . .
i will be getting the engine in a week or 2, as well as an auto trans from a 2000 v6 camaro. hopefully i can get the intake manifold from the camaro too. We will see.

i will have to get on the pontiac forums and research on the ECU. i'm mainly concerned with that since my truck is carburated now.
i also saw a few old posts on here about how people did their swap and it is helpful too.


i have always wanted a project car or truck but never had space to do it. So this should be interesting.
