Josh,
If you have the ability, consider offering more items. Take a look at the items offered by a unnamed vendor who has a lot of people upset with his inability to deliver and lack of communication. To be successful with this venture, offer quality parts and deliver when you say you will at a competitive price.
Give this some serious thought.

I know what you're saying! I have programs for all sorts of little blockoff plats and whatnot that I used in the swap, exhaust flange, egr, sls pump, oil filter housing relocation plates. Unfortunately the motor mounts were so awkward and weird that I just hand made them and don't have any programs to duplicate the work

Nice Job! I went with the 4x4Labs adapters for my rig (FJ80), and fabbed motor/tranny mounts.
I definitely agree with the diversity of parts being a strong suit of being in business, another high need machined item for these that would be your bread-and-butter would be offering oil housing plate adapters, vacuum pump block off plates (a lot of folks are critical of the stock vacuum pump), aftermarket alt. bracket (e.g. Delco 22SI). You could crank this stuff right out and the merc. sedan people would some of it too.

I couldn't agree more Cadlin.
That is the absolute longest power steering belt you can put in there. The next one I buy will be about an inch or two shorter.

(Though for ease of use, I ended up putting in a Saab 900 110amp alternator. It bolts right up, apart from I just had to elongate the hole to line up, and eliminate (grind) some of the bracket that was in the way. ...And it was $25 at the parts yard)

That's good info right there.I've also heard of people using the stock Mercedes alternator. And then just putting in a push button too excite ir whenever they fire up.

FWIW: I have my excite wire plugged into one of the factory terminals, whichever one in the schematic was getting +B on startup. Oh yeah, and I swapped pulleys, but no big deal.

Took the runner for a drive up the gorge to see what kind of mileage I would get with the 36 iroks on. Ended up getting 18 miles to the gallon. Which wasn't horrible considering I was going up hills. Usually in 3rd gear.Think I'm going to want to upgrade from 456s to 488

Took her for a run today with the 31s on. What a difference. I was in 5th the whole way out instead of 3rd. Plenty of power. And I got 21 miles to gallon with a little bit of a mix city/hwy. I should be able to get this one up to about 26 on the freeway probably. Not horrible for a 4500 pound rig. I think 33's are going to be the ticket. With 4:56 gears. And this engine.

No the only thing I've touched is the Adla. I have a second pump I'm going to send it to injection shop at the delivery valves cut down. And the barrels flow mached. And if I'm somehow I'm lucky and I find a set at seven and a half a millimeter elements that be nice. What all have you done to your pump and how did you like it?

I've sent my injectors to Greazzer on the Peachparts forum and he installed Monark nozzles and pop tested them. Besides that I have turned up the ALDA, but still never get smoke. I have an EGT and I plan to turn up the boost and fuel a little. Most of the stuff I have been doing is to get a solid base-line before I turn her up.
I would love to mod a pump, as that is where the real power is. How much will the work on the pump run you?
(I also have a set of valve wrenches I made up that you are more than welcome to borrow.)
