Welp, she runs!
Started up the first go around and sounds solid, got a short clip of it running.
Still have some things to button up before I can driver her but I'll give the full report and some pictures when it happens.

The truck is 99% done, I've been driving it around and looking out for any problems/leaks that arise. I still have some loose wiring to clean up.
I had Wakkjobb fab up an exhaust out of 3" mandrel bent pipe. We decided to go with a removable mid pipe section that way the tranny can come out without cutting the exhaust back out. There is an exhaust leak at the back section V-band clamp that I need to fix.
I got a Magnaflow glasspack for the muffler and it quieted it down quite a bit after running open downpipe for a couple days. (Don't mind the wiring, working on get my rocklights installed.)
He was also nice enough to weld up some mounts for my Hi-lift.
Brand new wheels and tires installed, much less bounce at speed now!
I ordered a A-pillar gauge pod (rice!), boost, and water temp gauge. I plan on removing my crappy mechanical oil pressure gauge and getting a digital one for the 3rd hole. I had a faulty amp gauge almost burn my truck down last week so I had to yank it out and bought a fire extinguisher!
I dremel'd out the grill to clear the radiator to keep it as stock looking as possible. I've got some recessed hood latches on the way so I'll be trying to get that back on this weekend. I installed the Autopal H4 headlights and they are so much better than my old ones. I also need to get an alignment bad!
I uploaded a better video of the truck running, but the audio is still garbage. My alternator is also kind of noisy so I may replace the current one and use it for a spare. My upper radiator hose is dangerously close to the alt. belt so I may get a shorter one to move the alt. down some. The smoke you see is from valve cover breathers, I plan on yanking those out and routing it back into the throttle body but it shouldn't hurt anything for now.

But I expect to take it camping on memorial day weekend over at China Wall in the Terryall/Lake George area, nice and easy for my first run out.

No worries, lots of people (including me at some point I'm sure) get that wrong.
Kalmah, when you had it apart while building the motor, did you notice if there were grooves worn in the crank where the seals run? Mine had a slight groove where the rear seal was and it leaks ever so slightly, even with a new seal.

I did find out my ISCV is shot, the idle issue should be fixed once its swapped. Crank pulley doesn't budge at all.

does the w56 mount up well with the M-series block? Also, i may have missed it, but what bellhousing and clutch did you use? I'm trying to get a truck to drop my 6M-GE in (12v version of a 7m, or stroker version of the 5m, depending how you want to look at it).

the 87-92 non turbo supras had a w series tranny behind them. So if you use a w-series tranny, with the w-series bell housing it should bolt up to your m-style block. You'll need a 7m n/a flywheel and clutch. I'm unsure about the 5m flywheel and clutch.
