I thought I would share the complete build of a running and driving 1UZ I completed on our shop truck which is a 1994 4runner.

Here is the run down on what I used and what works at least for me. There are alot of ways to complete this install and not one of them I have seen is exactly the same, but everything I have done has worked out really well.


1994 LS400 1UZ with 120,000 miles.
NWT Bell housing
NWT billet steel flywheel
NWT clutch kit
NWT 1UZ block hugger headers
NWT motor mounts
NWT body spacer 1" pucks
Custom built exhaust
SC400 Non atrac throttle body
NWT aluminum radiator with a puller fan with fan shroud
NWT wiring harness
NWT transmission cross member with under belly skid plate


I have since put about 7,500 miles on the rig since the swap. This rig started out as an IFS rig and we have since swapped out to a solid front axle with duel elockers front and rear.
