4.7 swap into 86-95 4Runner/Pickup been done?

has anyone swapped the toyota 4.7 v8 into our year trucks?
im just bored and thought i would ask

no but i was thinking about doing it. it that could be really fun!

1990 PU total of 8" lift, SAS, 5.29 gears, front lock right rear spool, 22re, 5 speed, std cab, short bed, supra AFM, thorley header, and 37" toyos.

future mod: some spydertrax full axles as beefy as they got' em,ARBs front and rear, and some good bumpers, supra 7mgte with all the go-fast parts, new cab and body.

1994 2wd PU LCE intake and full custom exhaust.-for sale.

4.7 is steel block isn't it? 4.0 is aluminum.

yes quite a few people have swaped the 4.7 into 2nd and 3rd gen 4runners. But a more common swap is the 1uz-fe. Its a 4.0L V8 Alloy block and cast aluminum internals. It doesnt produce as much torque but a little bit of forced induction will fix that right up.
Oh and by the way, the 4.7 is a cast iron block and the 4.0 V6 or 1gr-fe is aluminum alloy with a 1mm layer of iron surrounding every cylinder. all with cast aluminum internals. check out UZSWAP.COM
