3.0L swap to 2.4L

I have a 93 4runner with 3vz 3.0L v6 and want to swap to the 22re 2.4L.

I was wondering if first will the 3.0L trans bolt into the 2.4L
and if the motor mounts will be there same? Since they did have both the 2.4 and 3.0L in that year

I know i will have to get a ECU and wirring harnnes for the swap.

the motor mounts and transmission will not bolt up. you'll need a R150F to w56 bellhousing conversion. i think marlin crawler sells one. and you'll need to custom fab your own motor mounts.

just drop a 3.4 in. everything bolts up.

3.4l swap, same or better mileage, better power, bolts up mostly, you'll have more trouble with a 22re swap. Better to just sell the truck and buy one with a 22re if you're heart is set on it.
