mystery clicking solenoid problem solved!!
i am/was using a cable speedometer.
this was converting the signal to send to the computer.
when your speedometer cable is failing it doesnt produce a clean signal.
do to not having the #2(?) speed sensor hooked up the computer was confused and was turning on/off the solenoids.
after hooking up and using only the #2 speed sensor after my speedo quit my shifting is perfect.
I have converted to an electric cluster and will try out the shifting in the next couple days to see if you can operate without the #2 sensor as i really dont have it hooked up appropriately.
