I gotta give props to All Pro. I ordered my parts 2 week ago and got them in on Monday but they forgot some of the Triple-X kit. Called them up on Tuesday, explained what was missing and got them in today. This Triple-X looks way better in person. I cant wait to get it mounted. I probably should have waited to order it since I'm only getting half my pay on the 15th.

I finished up the Triple X install today. I then decided to finally put it back on tires. It’s been sitting on jack stands for over a year now. It literally took me like 5 minutes to get the front axle in and all four tires on so I could roll it out. My garage received a much needed cleaning today as well.

I finally got to start my engine, well sort of. I can turn it over with the key but it just wouldn’t start. I have the fuel pump wired straight from the battery so I knew I had fuel pressure. Sprayed some starting fluid in the intake and she busted right off but quickly died. Pulled the fuel injectors and checked to make sure they worked but they didn't. So looks like I will be taking them in for a cleaning. Hopefully they are just gummed up and not completely shot.

I'm thinking about selling this project. I have a lot of time and even more money tied up in this than you could imagine. What do you think I could get for it? Not really wanting to part it out. I'd rather see someone finish this then just sell it piece by peice.

I'm sorry to hear your frustrations, and hope you don't through in the towel.
I'd walk away from it for a few weeks before i sold it.

Its not that I'm frustrated, I just find less and less time to work on it. When I started this project it was just the wife and I. Now I have 2 daughters and the truck just isn't big enough. Trust me, selling it is the last thing I ever want to do but I have to face reality. I either cut my losses now or finish it and try and sell it later.

I have an offer on just the rolling chassis so keep an eye out for my 1UZ parts. I'll let you guys know if I go through with the sale. The only thing I might keep are the dual cases.

My 3 year old claimed the truck so I will be keeping it. Anytime we are outside she wants to work on "her" truck. I really didnt want to see it go.

Good to hear.

I was thinking of putting a 1UZ in my '96, but I'm going to stick with the 5vze for now.

Keep us updated on the progress.

If you still got the truck could you put up some pics of the slave and clutch fork. I would like to see how you mounted the slave. good work, now you got 13 more years to finish it.

Bummer, I just spent 30 minutes reading every post in this thread to find out it had been bumped to the top of the thread list because your selling it.

Good luck with the sale, If I was in or near AZ I'd definitely scoop it up.
