1uz-fe needs
I'm pulling the motor from my '94 model SC400. I want to put it into a 90's 4x4 manual 4runner. I want to build a baha type setup for the snow. This will be a Colorado vehicle. I want enough clearance and flex to get off the road but comfortable on the highway at 70mph. This isn't meant to be a crawling-type vehicle. I'm guessing there's no hope of a bolt up 4x4 manual transmission. Ideally, I'd like a 6-speed and expect to buy a transmission to rebuild to different specs. My main concern right now is what transmission should I be on the lookout for, used? I had ideas of a heavier duty transmission, like T100 or Tundra gear. Also, what other items should I be keeping from the SC400 to achieve less headache later?

you will need the harness both on the engine and under the dash. the accelerator cable and cruise control cable if you plan on keeping the cruise. all igniters and the fuel pump resistor. the flex plate depending on how you ro with the clutch there are a few other things i just cant think of them right now. u want to pick up a R150f transmission and get a bell housing of adapter plate online.
