Now that is some sexy stuff right there!!! You guys are FRIK'n AWESOME!!! I only get tiny windows to work on my own projects and it's nice to know I dont always have to spend it all in a trial and error process...Now I get what u meant by welding the rotor.. it only has a few tiny teeth inside it not full splines..NICE!! How long did it end up being and did you have to have it milled down or just a cut off wheel? Dealing with that is my next step..then it all gets mated together. I gotta find a shifter for this t100 t/c too.

yea well we got in trouble for working on this thing till 1:00am , the wifes were pissed .My friend has to stay home all day today and cant come out to play .
Not sure how long the rotor ended up being .. we cut it till we had 7/8ths of the lexus output shaft sticking out from behind it.(Measuring the t-100 shaft this is what it had also).
worked out great because it gave us just enough room to weld the splines on the rotor , just before the splines on the lexus output ended.

and as far as cutting we just used a grinder with cut off blade, doesnt really have to be perfect , unless you wont be able to sleep at night... just try not to heat the lexus shaft up to much when cutting it.

ohh one more thing this t-100 housing is still available from toyota new.
the part number is
Toyota Part 35015-35010
OEM Toyota ADAPTOR SUB-ASSY, TR

we were going to get it but got lucky and someone was parting out the t-100 we needed on craigslist.

I saw the parts diagram at the dealer when talking to the parts guy , asked him to print it out but he didnt want to

so if anyone has the diagram with part numbers or know where i can get it , would be great.
the dealer wanted $450 for it .
this site has it for less, and i believe it include the seals and bearing that are in the center, it was complete.

some pics of what were doing to the transfer case shifter.

the original t-100 shifter wasnt pointing in the right direction, so we tried to bend it .. tried to put to much of a bend in it and it broke . .
so bought some 1/2 rod bent it to the shape we needed then welded it back on the shifter, cut some threads on the end of it (12x1.25).
then welded a nut (17mm socket size with 12x1.25 threads , 3.0 motor mount nut) to the inside of the old metal cover for the t-100 shifter .

were trying to make something like whats in this pic of the 2nd gen 4runner from canada, but on the first gen.

ok so i havent had time to update until now ..

we ran the truck for the first time on thursday , it was 2:00am and cooold .

truck ran like crap , ran but not very well .

O/D light was blinking and the speedometer was not working the whole time .. tried to pull codes but no dtc presently stored was what we were getting the whole time .

finally got IAT sensor code.. switched air flow meters with my truck .. truck ran better ... but still the O/D light blinking .. disconnected Marlins speedometer adapter and wow the truck ran way better ..Marlins adapter is wired different than the original lexus sensor .. we originaly switched the wires around to match marlins adapter .. we switched them back and tried the lexus sensor , and spinned it by hand the speedometer was working now .

not sure if marlins sensor is bad or its just not compatible with the sc cluster.

other than that truck seems fine ..
needs complete exhaust (monday will be sent to the shop )
computer still needs to be mounted
carpet needs to be installed
grill and a few other details ..
will update the tread with pics tomorrow hopefully.

ok so the truck got its exhaust done .. speed sensor fixed .. this truck hauls .. its alot quicker then mine , 31"s ,4:88"s and alot less weight then mine .. big difference it hauls , the truck just goes from the start .. floor it and right away it just jumps and flys ( mine takes a bit before it flies you can feel the weight ).

really the truck just needed to be driven , the other night we were just really cold and not thinking clearly , overthinking things (last post).. its doing great and my freind is just finishing little details up now.

ill get some pics and videos soon , its been raining alot lately..this truck is going to utah on the 19th will be along drive , so its getting driven alot right now to make sure alls good .
