and nobody saw this coming?? A newbie pops up on the forum claiming to be a 3.4 expert when he proved he wasnt and then people started ordering harnesses from him and he doesnt even have an actual business. Sounds like time for a pirate thread.

I know this guy myself. Yes he computer went down on him. He has been swamped with lots of orders and he is trying to complete them. He works a normal daytime job at a toyota dealership. He also has a family this isn't his fulltime buisness people. Also doesn't he only charge like 2 to 300 bucks for the harnesses anyways? You know you could be paying a lot more.

Full time job or not...if he has clients then he should keep in contact with them and keep them updated on progress...especially when a payment has been made.

it all does seem hokey to me i thought i had no choice because i dont know much about wiring but i ended up doing the wiring on my truck because im leaving for college soon and thats my only vehicle and i cant wait half a year for a harness. tmz kept giving me excuses about how he sent the harness to the wrong person and how he was making a new one and overnighting it to me but i still have not seen it yet and he still isnt answereing his phone.

agreed with everything that has been said. he should at least keep in contact with everyone that has paid so far. If he is so jammed up he needs to offer to refund the money or at least have a rough time table on when the orders will be done.
I had a friend start a header buisness building turbo headers for honda civics he quickly got overwhelmed with orders and he had to tell everyone that orders were stopped for now and the people that had paid told them it would be about a month before there headers were done. he kept in contstant contact every 3-5 days the work got done people were happy. after he sorted out those orders he took in 5 new orders at a time and wouldnt except new orders till those 5 were done. It sounds like tmz needs to do something along these lines and only except maybe 1 or 2 orders if thats all he can handle. just my two cents. |

I asked him a few questions before he had this computer crash and he replied back about he would take a look and then never ehard from him again. So I looked into all the diagrams and learned loads. And when I source the parts I will do it all by myself. If you are going to advertise the building of harness then you should have time to comit to such a project. It's unfortunate for those who have given him money and have seen nothing for it.

If you like you can send me $150.00 and I'll quit answering my phone and send your box of nothing to someone else.

I guess I should not be like that...I'm not doing business with him and I do not know the situation. Just seems kinda odd but that's me.

my advice on this topic is if your thinking about buying a harness dont. the wiring is simple and you learn alot. i agree with yodathespian87 you just have to be willing to put effort into researching everything.

O.k. guys I'm back. I didn't skip town with anyones money. I have lost all notes and diagrams saved to my laptop. I have a few orders that are ready to go out, but I need some info from the people who have ordered from me. I AM NOT TAKING ANY ORDERS AT THIS TIME. I will be back to this when I can get a good backup and a home computer that will be a back up for my laptop. Anyone who has ordered from me please send me a PM and I will relay my phone # to you. Those who just want to come on here and talk trash, have fun doing so. I will not respond, only responce will be to those who I am working with to help them. Again not taking any orders. I am very sorry for the delay and will do everything in my power to make things right.

I'm wondering what happened to the Laptop. Depending on what happened you can recover all the data. Does not matter if it's formatted or not. Some of it you can get back. So back to my question what happened to the laptop, seems like the hard drive went if you lost all your data. Are you still using the HD or did you purchase a new one? Did it quit spinning up or did it just decide not to boot?

To be honest with you, I don't realy know much about computers. I have a warranty threw Best Buy. By the way NOT a fitting name for the store. I logged on to TIS one day to work on a harness and it locked up. I shut it down and restarted it and all I got was a black screen with white writing about errors. I took it to them and after 2 and a half weeks of it will be in tomorrow I got it back on a friday. Everything worked but about 90% of my stuff is gone and would not connect to the internet. I called them Sat morning and was told it must be my wireless router. Monday I took it back and all hell broke loose. I was told I would have to pay another $50 for a part that I am told only cost $10 + -. After yelling at two differant managers and being asked to leave because I didn't understand why they didn't check it before giving it back. I was told over the phone to pick it up Tues, now Thurs I got it back. Still not knowing what was wrong to begine with.

I always tell people to stay clear of that place!!!
Well I do feel for you in that aspect. Without knowing what they did to it and what was wrong with it I really cannot help out all that much. Did they give you any of the old parts??? If it was a HD they replaced I'd fight to get it back, especially if there is personal information on it. Just because you delete it does not mean it's gone.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I will have to call them as I was asked not to return to that store. Got real bad, I gave you the rated G version. BTW I did go to the local library to get on line but this site is blocked. I asked why and was told only certain site could be accessed because of children using them.

If they have the HD Definitely get it back...should be able to get the data off it as well. Find out what they exactly did to that machine as well.
Sneak back in, wear a hat, they'll never know.
