Stupid MAF and trans pan ???
My swap 97 4runner engine into 95 4runner 3.0 Auto.
Engine is running and moving but I have 2 main things to sort out.
MAF. - I'm using a 97 t100 PCM. The MAF I'm use to seeing on a 4runner is a 2 screw drop in style MAF, and that's what I took from the donor 4runner. When I looked at the MAF for a 97t100 it showed as a 1 piece bullet style MAF I am not familiar with this setup and the drop in Sensor plugged in to the factory harness do these work on this swap? or do I need the Bullet style MAF system.
Also I am doing the Auto swap, the dipstick is really fighting me to fit without rubbing or being really close to the manifold. I have read that the T100 pan is the best option, does it relocate to the passenger side or is it still crammed?
Thanks guys.
