Old thread bump. Playing with an 02 and having difficulties getting the motor running correctly. I can't figure out if this motor has ETCS= Electronic Throttle Control System or its maybe a pre 02 model? Is there another way to tell that I'm missing something?

Looks like a user here had his being pin 8 on E5. I am missing a wire here. Maybe I'm shooting in the dark, but something has to stick.

How is the motor running? Your throttle body would have a big black plastic motor on the side of it if you had etcs.
