loss of power in gear

so this weekend I took my truck over to the lake when I was driving through the hills going around 60mph up hill I lost all power. the truck stayed running but would not get out of its own way in gear. I was able to rev it up in neutral but in gear it fell on its face. I did a basic underhood check checking fluid levels and listened for any major vacuum leaks. I replaced maf the day before so swapped old one back in truck started and was able to drive off. it did this to me 3 more times on the trip but all others was when I would come to a stop it started hunting around for idle very slowly and then I would go to take off it would fall on its face I shut truck off for a min. and fire it up and was able to drive off. my truck is 93 3.0 4x4 with a 01 3.4 taco. I have a resonator and borla exhaust.

fuel pressure is ok I checked and it was 5 psi over specs but if I hooked the fpr to manifold vacuum it would lower down to rec specs. i have checked for a fuel pump leaking down and for a possible leaky injector and all is ok. i have since then repalced plugs since I had no clue the last time they were done. but yet I am still chasing this ghost and its driving me nuts any ideas or other recomendations to check would be helpful.

Nope still can't figure it out haven't kicked any codes relating to concern. Tried fuel pump fuel filter maf. Still does it. I've come to find out if I shut the truck off and then turn it back on it run fine. It happens only after long periods of driving.

Interesting. My Sequoia with a 4.7 v8 would drive great, until it got warm and then it would fall on it's face. It would eventually start dying. It was a fuel pump problem that only appeared when it got hot. Have you ohm'd out your plug coils? Electronic issues, a lot of time, won't rear their heads until they're warm/hot.

Also make sure you've got a reliable connection to the +12v wire on the ECU. Could be a loose harness wire somewhere.

i havent tried ohming the coils out i will try that out this weekend. i am having trouble figureing out the wiring or pinouts of the ecu i have electrical diagrams but toyonlyswaps did my harness for me. and theres wires on there that dont jive with the diagrams. and my truck is a manual 4x4runr. the donor motor came from a manual 4x4 as well. im thinking its an electrical isssue as well but im not very good at diagnosing electrical problems when it gets this deep

so I got to testing more components and this is what I came up with. I checked my gm/sec and its low at6.29 spec is 11-25. I have 1.52 v on my gry red wire coming from the maf. which goes to the vg on pcm. diag flow chart says its supposed to be below 1v or pcm has failed. is this correct or am I missing something.on p0141 code I have good voltage on my white/ red wire and good voltage on red/ blue wire. heater circuit resistance in spec.
