Looks good. If you need exhaust pipe check out columbia mandrel bends. They also have a B-stock list which may have blemishes but they are sold at a discount.

Got the hood bolted back on. lined up perfect the first try.
Feels like I'm working on my truck again, and not just some lawn ornament.
Started making some new bus bars, but my taps are cheap and dull (too dull for even copper)
Old system, slightly modified. I plan on using the 4Runner body fuse box as an accessory fuse box with relays. It's got glue drying right now, I'll try to figure out mounting later.
Left to do:
-Exhaust (parts ordered, on the way)
-Driveshaft (found a semi-local company, might not get done for a few weeks)
-Battery mounting (inside the toolbox for now)
-ECU wiring (probably 6 wires)
-Fluids

I worked on exhaust this afternoon, since my parts showed up.
My top of the line exhaust diagram:
(downpipe - flanges - cat - flex - flange - muffler/tailpipe)
Shiny
All new parts, welded tight
My crap-ish thin-wall welds. Not terrible, I'm getting better though
New flange is larger than the old pipe after the cat, so I went and got a few pipes and adapters.
The old flanges look like they came off the Titanic
I thought about using the old muffler...
but...
...trying to weld up the seam was more like a plasma torch.
So I got a cheap muffler for the time being.
Tomorrow: finish exhaust, finish wiring, fill with fluids...?

I got my temporary exhaust done today, but I still need to add another part before it goes out on the road.
I'm done with the truck this week, as I have long work weeks ahead. I won't be able to work on it until the 9th of May, if the weather is even nice enough (and bugs sparse enough).
No pics today.

I moved, and took my trucks with me...
Pulling it out was frustrating, but after a good pull from my dad's truck, it moved for the first time in over two years
It was at this point that I tried pushing it down my new driveway, into the garage...
...only to realize the parking brake had seized up. A few whacks with a hammer, and she's all in place, ready for more work!
(said hammers as chocks, for now)
The NoRunner got dragged backwards the whole way, resting just outside the garage.
I moved literally across the street, so I just towed these with my dad's truck the 1/8 of a mile down the road. My girlfriend did a great job of driving slowly, and I sat in the trucks working the steering and brakes. Hopefully the next time the truck moves, it will be under her own power.
I still have some moving to do, but I could start working on it again as early as next month.

Nice car and a half shop you got there. Now my goal is to get my swap finished in under two years...hahaha. Hopefully being enclosed will let you work on it at any hour you want.

That's a nice garage. I know I get more done on my 4runner when I can get it in my garage! Congrats on the move. What ever happened with your boat and pop up?
