evap wiring help
hey all, I recently completed a 3.4 swap into my 93 t100, 5spd 4x4. i had the basic wiring hooked up enough to get it running, and tonight i tried to finish up hooking up the evap wiring and odbII port. After finishing the evap wiring i went to start it and nothing happened, I realized i had gotten the starter cable and one of the VSV wires backwards, so i switched them. now the motor will turn over, but will not start. would fire right up fine before. I completely disconnected everything new that i hooked up and I still get the same symptom. the motor will run for a second or two on starting fluid and sounds like it is ~almost~ catching, but will not start. Im afraid I might have fried my ECU by misconnecting some of the wires, is this possible? I checked all of the fuses, and none seem to be blown
Thanks in advance for any insight!

Doubt you blew the ECU. We are missed more than a few wires when we did our swaps. Check your COR wiring. Check your MAF wiring and that you're using the correct MAF for your ECU (there are 2 styles). You did your own wiring? You made another mistake. Take a couple days off, and look at it again with fresh eyes. Wait, how did you get the starter cable wire backwards?

thanks for the reply, I got it figured out. started right once i left it overnight with the battery disconnected. now ive got everything wired up right!
Sounds kinda dumb, but the starter wire got messed up cause I had an engine from a t100 donor so all the evap wiring i had to run seperately into the cab with the starter cable.
