91 4runner 3.4 swap no fuel??
Hi there, so this morning I drove my 4runner to work and it ran fine. I came back out about 30 mins later and it wouldn't start, heres what I've done so far.
1. Good Spark
2. Cracked the fuel line and had No pressure even while cranking.
3. EFI fuse is good and getting power
4. No power to fuel pump from wiring harness.
5. EFI Relay clicks once when key is turned on??
Any help would be greatly appreciated I am stumped here. Why would it all of a sudden just quit? I dont know much about the functions of the relay So if any of you have any advice please chime in.
P.S. This swap has been in for about 3500 miles now and everything has been running fine.
Thanks

Fuel pump?
As it is a 91, there is a high probability of the pump failing. You can apply +12 to the pump harness and see if it kicks on. If it does there is probably a short between the relay and the pump.

Well I feel like an idiot, first thing I did was go through all the fuses. Replaced efi relay and COR with a buddys and still nothing. Started tracing all the wires finally got back to the fuse block where guess what i found?? A blown fuse!
I guess this could be a quick reminder for everyone else as well as myself CHECK ALL FUSES TWICE before you really start tearing into things..

I know... I just bought this runner a few months ago with the swap already done. I'm getting ready (doing my research) to go through all the wiring and redo it. Also went wheeling in it a few weeks ago and was trying to go up this steep rocky ridge and every time I would get about 1/2 way up and as soon as I hit that ledge hard the efi fuse would blow and kill my engine? So my guess there is a little short somewhere and I got to find it. Also when I replaced my cor it was rusted to gummy bears.
