3.4 swap Question

Can I use the fuse block thats in the engine bay of my 3.0 or do I need the 3.4 one?

Use the 3.0 fuse block. You'll have to move the battery to the driver's side, because the 3.4's intake is on the passenger side. Run a heavy gauge wire from the battery to the fuse block and you're done.

Yes you can..

Search around on here.
Many have reused the 3.0L charcol cannister,
I am actually using mine now, but i need to get my 3.4L one replaced so i can go see the referee for smog in california.

Evolta and Brenkrjai have the diagram for the charcoal canister. So I would check those 2 threads out. Very helpful.

Yoda- Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Looking at the drawings, it looks like I'm using the VSV from my 91 4runner. Does the electical connector from the VSV bolt up to the 3.4 ECU harness or do I have to figure out the wiring on that as well.

Yes they do. At least 2 of them do. You will notice they have a little tab off to one side which only allows that exact plug to plug in. As for the wiring check out TIS.com and http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.html
