Wiper Blade Replacement

Hey guys,

It's looking like it's time to replace my wiper blades on my truck, but before I go and buy some new ones, I wanted to get some opinions from you guys on what you think works best for you.

Also from what i remember, the passenger side blade is shorter than the drivers' side. Is that right or no? Thanks for any help you guys can offer! (btw, this is a 91 4x4 truck)

Funny... I just replaced mine today!
On the '02 Tacoma both blades are the same size.

The OEM blades were something like $4 each so it isn't going to break my back and they work just fine

yeah, it would be great if i could just do the replacements, but since the previous owner got rid of the OEM blades, i have to buy new ones. It's only $24 for each of them though, so i might just end up getting new blades as well.

Monkey, see our Gear Review section.
I have tried many wipers out there, and nothing beats Toyota ones.

I too had to buy the new blade assemblies as the previous owner put on aftermarket ones, and of course the Toy refills will not fit aftermarket blades.

Ditto.

I like the bosh inserts. They are about $6 and work far better than OEM.

I bought the PIAA Carbon Fiber look ones from Perfomance Products. They weren't very expensive and they work AWESOME! They came with this stuff to wipe on your windshield and I don't know what it was but I've had it on there over a year and it still beads the water like a fresh coat of Rain X. This is after god knows how many carwashes, mud, and of course buckets and buckets of rain here in the UK.

Great customer service? Since they didn't charge you twice? I guess that's good as far as dealerships go.
