toyota TIS
Hey guys,
I just signed up for one day on the toyota technical information service. I have almost finished downloading the service manual for my '93 pickup. Any other ideas of junk I should download?

I just did that today too. I got the service manual, the service bulletins, and the wiring diagrams. Way cool deal for 10 bucks!

Heck yeah, it is a pretty cool deal for ten bucks. I saw a set of service manuals for sale for 85 bucks used in the classifieds. It's really pretty cool

How long did all of this take you guys?
I'm wondering if I should do this and attempt to download all the documentation for my 86 and 02 on the same day.

With a VERY fast connection, it took me about 3 hours or so. There were more than 500 files available for my rig, I didn't take them all, I skipped 4cyl stuff and auto trans stuff for example. I ended up with 273 files. They are .pdf files. You have to open each file, then save it. You can't select multiple files and download them all at once, at least I couldn't figure out how to do it. On a standard dialup, you'd need the whole day...

Yeah, you just pay 10 bucks and you can download all the info and manuals Toyota has. I got the whole 93 service manual, it was like 300 small pdfs. Hehe, I was bored when I started. Jimabena- I will get on there and get the bulletins for your 85, I'm pretty sure they have that on there.

Kyle,
It's techinfo.toyota.com. It's a pretty cool deal really. Mad Chemist- they are the actual FSMs in pdf format. I wouldn't think they would even be that bad on dialup; The whole service manual I have is only like 35 MB or so.
