Squeaky Grill Assembly

I have noticed that since I have had my truck and have been 'wheeling it (I bought the truck from my dad who bought it brand new and when he had it I think it saw about 3 miles of dirt) my front grill assembly has started squeaking. It is getting terribly annoying. I have tried tightening it, even shimming it a little, but to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem? My 99 Taco never did this, and it saw way more dirt than this 03 has. Anyone have any ideas of how I might alleviate this frustration? (Short of taking the grill off. If I had the money I might put in a billit type grill, but I don't.) Thanks in advance.

I don't know about your Taco but I zip tied my grill on nice and tight! I tied them on so they're not obvious. I never got along with the oem clips very well.
