Engine clicking (while cranking)

I hope thia isn't a repost, but i'll ask anyways. My old 2nd gen 3.0 is startign to click, ALOT, while starting. When I look under the hod, the engine turns, sloooowly. I don't know why the starter would crap out on me soo early, its only a few months old (rebuilt). I geuss that coat-hanger holding int the top-half of the starter was a bad idea; it's missing a bolt on the top. Like I said, the clicking and loud, and continuous.

What's wrong my engine, er , starter?
