what's the difference between Amsoil ASF & SDF oil filters?

I got a hold of some oversized Amsoil filters for my rig and they are labeled SDF-34 and ASF-34. What the heck is the difference between the 2. Does SDF mean "severe duty filter"? TIA!

SDF is SuperDuty Filter, ASF isn't listed on their site.

So I'm assuming that ASF is older stock I guess?
