Cracked Firewall

I have been having problems with my clutch not wanting to go into gear lately. I put a new slave cyclinder in and a new clutch master cyclinder and things were good for about a week or so. Than the pedal went to crap again, so i started to see what the problem could be, and i had a friend push on the clutch and i saw cracks in the firewall all around the clutch master cyclinder. After that i looked at the pedal assembly and saw it was also cracked. I pulled the pedal assembly out and welded it up, i doubt it will break again, next i welded the cracks in the firewall, it was a pain due the firewall being so thin there. I ground down the welds flush and repeated this a few times. It looks like it's holding good for now, but what do you guys do about the firewall, I need a more permanet fix i think. Weld thin guage tin in ? Oh it's a 93 T100.

Pretty common problem. Especially on the 4Runner. I just had the bracket welded. No more problems.
