coolant leak

Im trying to sell my 92 4runner but it has a coolant leak. I cant locate where it is leaking other than its on the back of the motor. I can see steam coming from the back pasenger side of the engine. I checked the hoses back there but i cant see anything leaking. I do see a circular shaped thing like a plate with 2 bolts holding it in place and it feels a little wet on the bottom side of it . Im not sure what it is or if it has anything to do with the cooling system . Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks

Aaron

A freeze plug? Or someone removed a engine heater and replaced it with a bulk head.

Good luck.

Water pump. I'm not a professional but i've had tons of coolant problems from high pressure build up cause of brakes to freeze plugs to water pumps, and that sounds like a water pump. Kind of expensive (like 250 maybe) to get replaced by stealership.
