Clicking CV joint, repack or replace?

Time to fix this SOB. But I was wondering, if anyone has successfully repacked a clicking/dry CV joint without any further problems. If so, I might give it a shot and save some money, but I don't want to do this job twice.

If you guys suggest replacing the entire half shaft (much easier) I'll just do that. opinions please.

If it's already clicking, it's ruined. You'll have to replace the joint.
