3.4l timing belt replacment questions!!

just curiouse on how many miles is to many for a timing belt, or in other words, when do you think its time to change it? and for any of you that have done it, how long does it take? im thinking about putting one in this weekend or next week when i put my clutch in cause there will be 3 guys working on it.
ps. got the 4wd back, its a blast!
