your thoughts on a 5.0

Hello fellas I am anticipateing a 5.0 transplant in my 84 pickup but dose anyone know of anybody who has done it and dose it still wheel like a toyota I don't want to sacrafice performance for power but I do want power. Keep in mind I am in california and smog is a pain, but it can be done. So what do you think fello yotamen

While you're searching, check out the smog law requirements/provisions before you start your swap. I don't want to deter you from your transplant, but the laws and regulations set forth here in the great state of California make such procedures a PITA.

Ya I know a guy that did this about 7 or 8 years ago. You have to have everything that the doner vehicle had smog wize that is then take it to the referie for final inspection but like I said it is possible and thev 5.0 with efi has to be wonderfull but ya I'll search it thanks guys..
