Swapping 92 3L for a lower mileage 89 3L

I spent about an hour last night looking at both engines (still in truck).

I noticed that the fuse panels were different, and was just wondering before I can go take another look if the engine wiring is the same?? or will I have issues hooking things up?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys!

You will probably have some wiring issues, as the wiring usually changes somewhat from model year to model year. I wouldn't think that it would be much more than changin the pin outs on the plugs to your ECU.

Get yourself the FACTORY wiring diagrams for both years, and you should be able to work it out on paper. I don't have the link, but search for the on-line factory service manuals, and you should be able to download what you need.

Use the stock 92 motor mounts, and stock 92 fuel injectors. Both are different.
