Swap toyota v6 or other toyota motor into 22re equipped 5 speed truck...

ok ive searched and cant really find it and i dont have the patience to really search anymore so here it is. i have a 1991 toyota extra cab truck that has the stock 22re and 5 speed trans. what i wanna know is what will it take to swap the v6 or any other toyota powerplant from around the same year into my truck...i know mounts are a given...what else is needed..this truck is a future 1450 class mdr race truck and with there being no engine limits(according to the rules) i want a little more grunt...maybe even a motor with the ability to have forced induction as they are allowed now forced induction in class 1400 and 1450. even if its a 4 banger...what motor will swap in with as little cutting involved if any...bolt in is prefered and im in california so something that would pass the sniffer as easy as possible. im tempted to toss a small block chevy in it but like i mentioned...easy,simple,pass smog is what i need...your help and ideas are appriciated in advance.

you can swap the 3rz in there, it will bolt right up to your tranny

95.5-2004 tacomas is the easiest place to find one, and can found in later 2wd t100's and 96-00 4runners.

2.7l 4banger. 150hp 177ft/lb torque

off road solutions offers a connection kit so you it is a plug and play wiring job.

is this the motor that trd has a bolt on supercharger kit for?...sorry for all the noob questions...im just trying to compile the info so i can start scourring the boneyards and know what im getting into...i especially like the sound of the "plug'n'play" connection kit you mentioned...i like simple...i like easy.

not being mean but your going to do an engine swap and you don't have the patience to search for all the info you want to know and a lot of which is all stuff that can be found in a repair manual and on these forums not being mean just pointing out that engine swap take time, planning, money, and PATIENCE a lot of it exspecially wiring and working out all the bugs
