Check the fusible links/fuses in the engine compartment fuse panel. Should have power in and out of them. You might have to unbolt the fuse block from the fender to get at the wires underneath to test, or you might even see a burnt fuse in there.
Double check the wiring to your starter. It probably got pinched or somethng and is grounded out. Don't try to start anything again until you figured out why the negative cable burnt up, or it will happen again.

alright ill check the starter cables and the fuse block wires, i already checked for blown fuses but what was clicking in the fuse block was the EFI relay i believe.
