How much of an increase?
When rebuilding any engine, I know that boring does add small boost in HP. How significant are these gains though? Would there be a huge difference if you bord .60 rather then .20
Also, Could you expect 150+hp from a 22r from a big bore, cam, some head work, mabey ported intake, and headers? You guys that have done 22r work and had it tested on a dyno, what were your results? |

Boring does little of nothing. Unless the new slugs compensate for it, you lose compression. Now a .200 overbore with high CR slugs? That's another thing. You will get more from airflow then anything. Heads and cams, proper tuning.
