I have the 4.3/700r4 in and I just bought the AA kit for the 300 to 700r4.
The driveshaft up front has to be pretty small od due to the 700r4 pan. I can't deicde to stick with a 208 adapter to mate the 300 or the AA kit that includes the new 300 shaft.

ANy pics or build threads in here with the drive train setup I can look over for pointers?

I have a guy commited ot helping me build the skids/supports in a couple of weeks and I want to be prepared.

I have the Vortec 4.3, 700R4, D300 combo in my CJ-7. I did the swap about 8 years ago using a Novak 700R4 to D300 adapter. With that kit you replace the D300 input shaft to match the 700R4 output shaft. I like it since I can swap the trans for any 4wd 700R4. I also had a close fit on the front shaft, but, so far I've had no problems with it. My biggest problem has been motor mounts, and I'm fabbing a new set now, that will hopefully last. Good Luck!
