350 swap without the 350 trans???

OK. So my father has a 95 4runner taht he is currently working on. The 3.0 V/6 crapped out on him and now he wants me to find some info on how to drop a 350 motor in there with a bell housing adapter plate, and different motor mounts. He says a bunch of people he used to know knew how to do it and had a bunch of success with it. He wants to know where to get the adapter plate for the 350 to go on the stock transmission in it now. It is currently auto. Someone please help.

idk how the stock toy auto tranny would hold up to the power...i have a th350 with my 350, and didnt think twice of leavin the yota tranny in (5 speed, however)...For the price of a combo you could get, th 350s run like 150 or 200 bucks used in good shape, you have way more power/and itll hold up like a champ...just my 2 cents

There is no adapter for the stock AUTO tranny, just manual trans.
