350 info im new to the yota thing

so i got a 84 yota with the chev 350 already in it, but the axle came up and crushed the down pipe is there a way to prevent this and do i have to buy a high tork starter to make it work, it also has a th350 trans

No clue without seeing it. Not enough info on the setup. No pics?

Stock manifold and down pipe or headers? Long tube or short tube? Body lift? Suspension lift?


Need more info, and PICS.

No, you can use a standard starter.

it has a 2" body lift 4" suspention, they are headers that go straight down, sorry i cant get pics

Without pics I cant tell.

I have block hugger headers that dump out just forward of the starter and motor mount, then a custom 90 degree pipe. It tucks right up along the bellhousing. Up and out of the way.
