350 in 82 yota
I am wanting to put a 350 with a TH350 tranny, and adapt a yoter transfer case to it. I am running 36's, 7 in lift. No body lift. Both axels have been rebuilt, just wanting more power. How much of a pain would it be to do this job. I work on v-8s alot, but would the bolt on motor mount kit for the 350/yota work fine? and what about clearance of the bell housing and distribater pass the fire wall?

I have a SBC 350 and TH350 in my 1984 Toyota pickup ex-cab, and with a 4 inch body lift the distributor is really close to the fire wall. I am actually going to modify the fire wall eventually. When I finally can't stand how close it is I will do it. Tuning is a little difficult. Other then that, it works pretty good. Bell housing clearance is perfect. I just swaped in a new TH350 and the bell housing bolts are very accesible. The bolt on motor mounts work well depending on who you get them from. Good luck with your swap
