22re swap

Hey. i got a 4runner with a 22re in it in canada. I've found a new engine from an american 4runner with a 22re. will it swap in ok? or is there any differences in the models of the engines between canada and the states?
thanks

should be the same in long block form the only differences would be on the emissions i think and those might be the same as well.

Only emissions would be different, and then all you have to worry about is whether its a Cali or Fed/Canada. Even if its Cali specs, there wont be really any problems. There might be a second O2 sensor, and there will be an EGR temp sensor (my '95 has one and its a fed/can spec) Other than that, they are the same. There might be another one or two emissions things, but I cant remember
