By sensors, did the TPS and AFM check out? How about the wires at the computer from all the sensors?

yea TPS and AFM checked out good, i didnt check the wires at the ECU. What would Be a good starting point there?

If all the sensors read out "good," then I would make sure the ECU is getting the right info. The fsm should be able to help to read out at the ECU. Make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks and that all that stuff is connected.

Does your throttle return spring looks like the first pic or the second?
I just replaced my TPS to get rid of a Code 7

Changed the TPS and got it down to 8-900RPMs and the gas pedal does respond. Drove it around the yard a little bit yesterday. One thing i noticed yesterday got me alittle curious. It has a kinda rough idle, not to awful bad. But if you cut the fuel pump off before you cut the truck off and let it run for a minute till the fuel runs out the line, as soon as you cut the pump off it smooths up nice and pretty. Thing that could be the pressure regulator or somthing?
